Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to a beloved family member residing on our estate. As a Live-In Carer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, well-being, and quality of life of our family member, while fostering a warm and supportive environment within our home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Administering medications and monitoring health conditions, under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
  • Assisting with mobility, transfers, and exercises to promote physical well-being and independence.
  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary preferences and restrictions.
  • Engaging in meaningful social interactions, companionship, and recreational activities to enhance emotional and mental stimulation.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for our family member, including light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  • Providing emotional support, empathy, and reassurance to our family member and their loved ones.


  • Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in a home care or residential setting.
  • Knowledge of personal care techniques, health and safety protocols, and infection control practices.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with our family member and their loved ones.
  • Patience, resilience, and adaptability to meet the evolving needs and preferences of our family member.
  • Respect for privacy, dignity, and autonomy, and a commitment to providing person-centered care.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training as required.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
